The standardized interface for data networking in the form of a Modular Plug is commonly referred to as an RJ45 connector. The 8 position, 8 contact, also known as 8P8C, is the configuration of the RJ45, the most common type of plug for Ethernet networking.

In addition, female connectors are recognized as Jacks, while the male modular connectors are called plugs. We supply RJ45 Modular Connectors as well as Jacks to accommodate, that will reduce the distance between conductor and contacts for optimum signal strength.
